The Fryderyk Chopin University of Music
The Fryderyk Chopin University of Music (Polish: Uniwersytet Muzyczny Fryderyka Chopina) is the oldest and largest music school in Poland (located in Warsaw), and one of the oldest and largest in Europe. The University has approximately 900 students.
The Chopin University of Music dates from the Music School for singers and theatre actors that was founded in 1810 by famous Polish theater director Wojciech Bogusławski.

The university is entitled to confer the following degrees:
- bachelor of arts - on successful completion of level one (junior)
- master of arts - on successful completion of level two (senior)
- doctoral and postdoctoral (habilitation)
The Chopin University of Music also offers postgraduate artistic traineeships.
