Warsaw University of Technology

The Warsaw University of Technology (Polish: Politechnika Warszawska) founded in 1826 is one of the leading institutes of technology in Poland, and one of the largest in Central Europe (36.000 students, including 500 foreign students, 2500 academic teachers, including 320 professors). There are 19 faculties covering almost all fields of science and technology.

The Warsaw University of Technology was ranked as 4th best Polish University in 2014. According to QS World University Rankings the Warsaw University of Technology was placed as 651st.

Warsaw University of Technology was also ranked in five fields of study: electrical and electronic engineering ranked in the range 101-150; mechanical, aeronautical & manufacturing engineering - 201-300; computer science, physics and astronomy - 251-300; and mathematics in the range 301-400.
