Lodz

Lodz (Łódź) - the third-largest city (population of 740.000 ) in Poland is located in the central part of the country. Lodz is a thriving centre of academic life, with 113.000 students and three major universities: University of Łódź, Łódź University of Technology and Medical University of Łódź. Łódź is also famous for the National Film School in Łódź.

Łódź is home to the white goods industry (Bosch- Siemens, Indesit), computers (Dell) and many logistics centres. Among BPO companies there are such firms as: GE Power Controls, Infosys, Fujitsu Technology Solutions, McCormick, Clariant, Samsung, Veolia, Nordea, Rule Finacial, South Western, Takeda, Tate & Lyle and TomTom.
